Beth works with the greatest team EVER!!!

One of the perks of working with Capital One is the opportunity to tag along (paying my own way, of course!) on their "fun days." On Wednesday, the US Card communications team enjoyed a tour of three Virginia wineries. We visited the tasting rooms at Burnley, Barboursville and Horton wineries. Then, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Restaurant Pomme and some brief shopping in Gordonsville - a very cute hamlet. It was a spectacular fall day with the leaves at peak color and many wines at peak flavor. Important team-building occurred!

The Hardy girls are all dressed up!

Adrianna and Sara P had a big weekend recently. Homecoming at Goochland High School, and a fancy bar mitzvah party. Adrianna and friends got all dolled up at Annie's house. They did hair and make-up and posed for pictures before splitting off in different groups for dinner, and then off to the dance. Sara and Morgan were invited by Babe to go to a friend's bar mitzvah party at the Jefferson Hotel. It was very fancy with live music and entertainers, dinner, a dessert table, pictures, games and gifts.

Hope they don't get used to living this kind of lifestyle!

Bert and Boys go to UVA UNC game

Bert and the boys had a great time on Saturday, October 18th as Virginia beat Carolina in overtime. Bert, Jeb and the boys were one of thousands that "swarmed the field" after the come back victory! We were then encouraged to leave the field by Charlottesville's finest...

Another Good Weekend

Bert & Beth got to go out for their anniversary finally as they attended the Kugel Ball and then stayed the night at the Berkley Hotel. Mimi & Pop visited and were able to take care of the kids for the night. Sara got to go to a fabulous Bar Mitzvah and Adrianna was gone all weekend for homecoming festivities. Bert capped it all off by playing golf on Sunday.

Another beautiful weekend in Corolla!

Beth, Sara and the boys headed to Corolla this weekend along with Kelly Stuart and her girls. The weather was phenomenal - 75 and sunny! We had a great time. Now that we have four beach cruisers at the house, we enjoyed biking around the Village and Heritage Park. Sara and Babe climbed the lighthouse stairs and enjoyed a spectacular view. They also made many trips to Wink's. Beth and Kelly did some shopping, and enjoyed reading and drinking wine by the pool. And the boys were just thrilled to have Mary all to themselves!

We left our husbands behind as they participated in Wolf Fest at CCV (aka - Little Sisters of the Poor golf tourney.) Adrianna camped at Crabtree Falls with her youth group.
